I picked up a Deka battery for my 907 at TSC. I don't remember the cost, but it seemed to me that it was fairly reasonable.

Just a little tip from when I bled my clutch awhile ago. If you are going to tilt the whole bike to the right-hand side to raise the master cylinder, a) put your fuel vent pipe into a can, or b) don't do it with the fuel tank completely full.

907 Articles

I have just come across a whole whack of info on the Paso in a box while cleaning out the basement. There are articles from the early 90s from several magazines along with original North American brochures from '90, '91 and '92. When I get around to it I would like to scan and upload them to the sit...

Ducman,

I sometimes only ride 50 miles in an entire week and I have had no problems with starting. I couldn't agree more with you on the accuracy of that clock. Keep er' hooked up!

I have never had a problem with the clock draining my battery, even when not used for 2-3 weeks at a time. After installing a Deka AGM battery last year I haven't had to put it on a tender all summer.

When I got my '91 907 new, it came with Champion plugs. The dealer installed NGKs during an early service and the bike ran like crap. When I mentioned this to him a while later, he told me that at a Ducati training session he had recently attended they told him that they did run better with Champion...

Yes faster, it is a genuine hardtail :ugh: which is fine on nice smooth pavement.

Rogero, it's a V-twin all right, 111 cubic inches (1819cc), which is the smallest of the three engines they offer. It 's also available in 117(1918) and 124 cubic inch(2032cc).

Yeah, it has a slightly longer rake than Paso  . It was quite a difference going instantly from the 907 to the Tejas.

Fifteen Years!!!

Milwaukee Canada has an American Iron Horse Tejas they are travelling around with for two years and then giving away. On Thursday it was at our shop for a tool demo day and I was able to wrangle about 5 or six short rides :D on it from the sales rep. Having ridden my 907 to work that day, he suggest...
