Re: 750 Sport and Paso 14T Front Sprocket

Sorry for late reply.
Front sprocket on many Sports are different from other models, and hard to find. Easier to just get a new chain and rear sprocket. I'm running 15/43 and like it a lot.

Yeah, the ST4s is also for sale. I think I'll keep a pair of 750 Sports. Hard to sell them.

91 907 For Sale

It is with deep regret that I post, but its best for me and the Paso. I bought a '91 with low miles that hadn't been on the road for 5 years, and I have owned it for 4 now and haven't put it back on the road. Previous owner had a low speed low side on a cold wet onramp and parked it. I changed the o...

Re: 750 Sport fairings?

If you find enough interest, Airtech might take up the challenge. They make a seat cowl for the Sport.
It would probably save 20 lbs. on the bike.

Is this bracket same as early Paso? Same wheels and caliper, but don't know if spacing is same.

Re: Front wheel size

Indeed, the Ducati trait from the 70's, 80's and early 90's was slow steering, which usually translates to rock solid handling at speed, and bear in town traffic. The common tricks to make a bike faster steering: - More angular tire profile. Like the Pirelli sport tires. - For the front tire, a 120/...

Re: HELP! 17 inch wheel conversion. All AOK Except Speedo w

In the U.S.A., there is no speedo check. So running without a functioning one is almost feasible. If there is a speedo on the dash, then you are good, basically. i have never heard of anyone ever being checked that they have a functioning, much less accurate speedo. Get any speedo drive that will wo...

Re: HELP! 17 inch wheel conversion. All AOK Except Speedo w

Hi Phil, Couldn't get the old speedo to work with the new wheel. Looking into speedo for smaller nikes to see if I can find a slimmer unit. TZr 125 uses a brembo wheel and looks to be 5mm slimmer. Fingers crossed! Yeah, it doesn't fit right up. I had to re-bend the tab on drive, and modify the plat...

Re: HELP! 17 inch wheel conversion. All AOK Except Speedo w

yeah, the speedo is the issue in that conversion. You can use the original Sport speedo drive and add some shims to fill the space. I used some 5/8" washers to fill the void. Not pretty, but it will work. The speedo drive for that newer wheel won't work unless you machine the left fork leg as m...

Re: 750 Sport refresh

your work is impeccable. Very nicely turned out. What rear hugger did you put on there? Seems to fit nicely. I'm sure there was some modification in there somewhere to either the swingarm or the hugger.

Re: 750 Sport refresh

A rocking good Sport. Should be a fun ride once you get the carbs and suspension sorted. Certainly can't argue any of the choices you have made on this build. It'll be a great bike to ride to a meet. You'll meet lots of folks discussing the origins, and the changes you made. Few people know what a 1...

Re: Saving a 750 Sport

Nice project. Mine was not dismantled when I got it, but it might as well have been. If the motor is too much a pain in the ass, you can simply go with a later 900SS motor and swingarm. Gives you a 6 speed tranny and a newer clutch slave cylinder. Bolts right in. Probably pick one up for a reasonabl...
