Re: Current drawn by the ignition coils

California Cycleworks designed a coil replacement kit that should work and fit for 750 Pasos with the Kokusan ignition system: http://ca-cycleworks.com/ca-cycleworks-products/ignition-coils/2vcoils About a decade ago I installed green 3ohm dynacoils, had a bracket fabricated and used Magnecor igniti...

Matris F15K M1R Cartridge

Have any of you contemplated installing Matris F15K cartridges in the M1R forks? There is a good review on one of the Triumph forums and they cost roughly Euro600.- or so. Apparently there is no need to make any modifications to the forks...

Re: 907IE Fuel Tank Wanted

I also have a brand new red 907 tank if you need one. Bought it new from Bologna years ago. Unfortunately there is a small dent at one of the front corners due to transportation damage.

Re: riding on golden tyres

I'm running these tyres on my DB1SR and am very happy. Please note that I don't push the bike to the limit - getting too old for that... :)

Re: rear pump ps12,rebuild kit

Hi Greg, Glad to hear that it's working again - sometimes those old seals just swell up... Regarding the part number, maybe 110.3773.20 is the right one for our Pasos. I've found it on Yoyodyne's website. Cyclebrakes.com also refer to this part number as another alternative. Has anybody successfully...

Re: rear pump ps12,rebuild kit

If I'm not mistaken you need to order part number 110.2797.20 from Brembo or one of their distributors. This worked for me when the rear pump of my DB1SR was stuck.

Re: Timing belts

Price is relative - one of the business units of a company that I work for supplies Gates with urethane products. There is a huge amount of R&D involved in the production of belts and companies like Gates need a solid return on investment if they're going to survive from a medium to long term pe...

Re: öhlins overhaul; anyone?

Hi Brutus,

Just a short note to let you know that my Ohlins mechanic charges 2 to 3 hours in time for overhauling a rear shock absorber. It's the parts that tend to be expensive but, on a positive note, virtually all are available from Ohlins...

Re: New tires ?

Hello Everybody, Just picked up my DB1SR from the garage this morning after a full service which also included overhauled front and rear suspension by Ohlins and new tyres - what a difference the new tyres make. The difference is like night and day upon comparison to the old 2004 Michelins! It is ac...

Re: öhlins overhaul; anyone?

My two pence worth after buying a used Ohlins rear shock absorber - take it to an Ohlins distributor, ideally the main importer for the country where you are based, and ask them to take care of refurbishing it. From experience it will not be inexpensive - been there, done that and have the t-shirt.....

Re: New tires ?

Hello Everybody, I've ordered two sets via the Swiss distributor - one for the 750 Paso and the other for the DB1SR. They should arrive at the beginning of next month - CHF190.- each for the front and CHF210.- each for the rear if I have understood things correctly. On a related note this whole proc...

Hi Gerhard,

I was under the impression that the standard headers have a 36mm diameter. Great news if I only need the open exhausts!
