Re: BALLISTIC BATTERY
Hi G. the whole range from 750 Paso up to latest 907's use the same battery. IMO there isn't much difference between Yuasa and Varta in price and performance. generel price in Holland is € 130 to € 140 and 260/270 CCA, weight is about 6 kg. looking at the 12 cel Sycl battery, they're talking about ...

Re: BALLISTIC BATTERY
Hi Pencilbeam, do you need the charger from them and how harmfull/sensitiv are these battery for draining deep? Bertus I never use a charger on mine. The battery can sit for 1 - 2 years with no trickle charger and still start the bike right up! When I'm not riding the bike or out of town, I simply ...

Re: 1993 paso 907 ie fast idle...very strange
Thanks Davo, I was also wondering if their is an electronic solenoid that might have gone bad that oversees electric current to the fuel pump. I'll begin with the cleaning of the associated parts and see if I can make progress on the issue.. Many Thanks, Shiny There is a relay for the fuel pump on ...

BALLISTIC BATTERY
Killed my battery by leaving it on a trickle charger on float charge about 6 mos. ago. I haven't been riding the Duc that much. Boiled all the water out. Just got tired of the crap batteries, so I looked into the LiFEPO4. I bought this one... the Ballistic 8 Cell from these guys: http://www.testsycl...

Re: would like to introduce my 907 I.E.
Hello pencilbeam, ah, so this is yours, with the LED-Lights at the front, nice !! even the yellow at the revcounter is a good idea ! I let the gauges made by a manufacturer in Germany. I had an Idea how it had to look, wrote him what I wanted and he did it. The gauges came ready to mount, with it's...

Re: would like to introduce my 907 I.E.
Really like your bike. Did you make the instruments up yourself or did you buy them? I experimented with white too, but always liked the yellow from the Benellis... So I played with just the tach being yellow. The instrument lights are dim, so the white was too hard to read at night. http://i838.pho...

Don't put bar end mirrors on a paso. Just take some neck stretching exercises and ride fast. No! There are not any other, only bar end mirrors... Ok, some, but then You have to modifie fairings... Anyway i think, its little stupid to put some other mirrors, as those, what are designed to Paso....

So as a follow up to my original thread, idle problem is solved. Finally took it to a shop. The service tech really didn't want to look at it, but was able to run a CO meter and balanced the thottle bodies for idle and lower rpm. I found that my water hose was rubbing against the end of the throttle...

Re: A few tips from my experience
Thanks very much, I found one of my air screws dropped out of the vertical manifold, so I screwed it back in and closed both of them. I'm planning on getting a friend to use his shops co meter to rebalance them and I will keep you posted. Best regards. The TPS hardly ever needs adjusting. However, g...

I have been on your site! Very good. The most recent one I checked out was http://www.elefantriders.com/fuel_injection.htm.
I'm going to check my temperature sensors and idle set screw again.
Are those expensive to replace if bad?
I will post again after that. Much appreciated.
