Re: 750 Paso For Sale

Yes it is. Sorry for the delay in answering, I have been out of town and a little preoccupied. But am back checking in at ducatipaso.org now. Oh, also got your direct email that you sent yesterday.

750 Paso For Sale

1988 Ducati Paso. This is a very good example of an every day drivable Paso and in very nice condition for its age. Needs nothing but an owner to ride it. In excellent running condition. Have owned this bike for 17 years. Don’t ride it much any more, it needs a good home. $2500 Located in Santa Fe, ...

Re: who still makes a new rear shock?

You didn`t even try to find that info. ;) In Europe there`s Wilbers and Bitubo, in US there were shocks from Fox performance or Penske. The Paso shock is quite long compared to others so finding a replacement from another bike might not be that easy. Thank you for your help. Very useful. For the re...

who still makes a new rear shock?

Does any one, especially in the USA, still make a new replacement rear shock for an 1988 Paso 750? Or is there a crossover from a different brand bike that would fit? Progressive used to still list one back a few years ago. Anyone in Europe still provide an option?

Rear brake light switch

OK, I finally broke something. Actually the part failed after only 27 years. The rear brake light hydraulic pressure switch is not working. Checked it with a VOM. Got voltage to it but not through it when depressing the foot brake. Front brake light works fine. I have checked the Paso FAQs and did a...

Re: swingarm chain slider

Put me on the list of those interested in getting a new slider. What you guys are doing to make this happen is way beyond my understanding. I am just a carburetor (weber) guy in a fuel injection universe.

Re: A Call for Help

this maybe dumb but I will ask anyway. If just the float towers are snapped off, could you use JB Weld to bond them back on again? That stuff is amazing and has bonded lots of busted cast aluminum parts before. Just a thought...

Re: oscam modular wheels

OMG, 2300 bucks and those wheels. If it is just old and not molested with that 7000 miles, it should be sweat. Tires and then check all rubber, tune up and fuel system clean out and you should be good to go. Last year I saw an ad for a blue Paso 70 miles away but had no cash and a full one car garag...

Re: Got a paso!

You will be denying yourself wicked pleasures if you do not ride the thing. BUT first check it over completely, previous owners usually don't admit to their past sins with a bike.

Re: 750 Paso ergos compared to Ducati Monster, 749 and 900ss

I have had a 98 Monster 900. More leg room than the Paso. My Paso has small bar risers and a 20 plus year old Corbin seat. Seating position is very relaxed with a slight bend forward but all day comfortable. What I notice most when changing from my other bikes back to the Paso is the relatively high...

Re: We are BACK!!!

I cannot say thank you enough. I was in a panic. I started searching all my external drives and backups to gather years and years worth of Paso info that I downloaded and copies off of ducatipaso.org. Just trying to pull everything into one place and see what I had. You guys are heroes. I plan to hi...
