Re: Demise of the ST?

The SS range quietly disappeared at the start of 2007. Looks like the decision to continue with the "Limited Edition" Sport Classics has meant an end to some other models. I must admit the more I see the Red GT1000 decked out in soft luggage the more I like it! Not sure how the Spor...

Demise of the ST?

Interesting to note as I perused: http://www.ducati.com that the 2008 model line up does not include the ST3, I did however notice pictures of Multistrada & Sport Classic models with full luggage set ups on them. Does this mean for the first time since the 750 Paso that Ducati does not have a de...

Re: Another question about clocks!

Aahh the challenge of "The Fix", now that is something that I can relate to.
Maybe once you master the clock you can make up a cover so you only look at it when you really need to

Re: Another question about clocks!

Clocks have no place in motorcycling, Riding is all about freedom & that means not watching the clock. put it back in place & forget about it. Enjoy riding & forget the rest of the world while you are doing it. We don't get enough time on the bikes as it is so we don't need to look at th...

Re: Where Do You Store Your Bike(s)?

Thanks Mike, unfortunately mine has also gone & is very sadly missed, at least the mate I sold it to looks after her passionately. I have noticed that you are listing an '83 R80 Cafe racer in your list of bikes, any chance we could see some pics of that beast as I am also thinking of doing simil...

Re: Struck Me as Odd....

Well I have been seriously considering taking mine off the road when rego runs out at the end of december to give the old girl a major freshen up as she has 90,000 km on the clock (& every other part for that matter) but I fear you may have just scared me off that idea as it sounds like she may ...

Spoke to my local Yamaha dealer today where I have purchased my last 3 or 4 sets of Michelins for the Paso, they checked availability & can get me these tyres from teh Distributor (Wayne Gardner Enterprises) over night if I need them. They showed me the latest WGE catalogue (2 weeks old) & t...

That is all I can recall form our era that ran them unsure of other makes of bike (there are bikes other than Ducati...

Got to agree gasfire I do not see a need to fit one as my 906 does run straight, I was just curious as to whether anybody had & if so how. I am too old for Bling  Interesting though to hear about adding luggage & weight, that certianly changes the whole dynamics when riding, that is why...

Don't forget us 906 owners as well & there are the 851 tricolor, 900ss & even some 750f1's from the same era. surely we make up enough to warrant a run of these each year or so. Perhaps we should contact like groups for these bikes & put forward a united case. The more using this tyre th...

Steering Dampner

Hey guys & Gals, I am just curious to know whether anyone has fitted a steering Dampner to their trusty Paso? if so how? If not do we feel that they even need one?
