More than likely you have a leaking inlet manifold.

Replaced the plastic ones on my BMW with stainless, makes taking the tank off a piece of piss. If you go that way it helps to alternate the position of the male and female fittings on the hoses, that way you can't mix them up when reconnecting. Just make sure you have some spare O rings for the conn...

Check the coolant hose isn't expanding and pushing on the throttle cable, there is a post on here about it.

try Pin Wall cycle parts in the states, just bought some bits off them as they are wrecking one at present.

Gowanlochs ad them about 6 months ago on eBay for about $300 AUD brand new.

Have you tried Gowanlochs in OZ for parts, panels, radiators, dash, injectors etc.. I have bought all these as NOS off them recently, freight might be a killer though!
