Re: UK Spec headlight

How is this for a memory! Way back when the 750S was all the rage I found a feedback letter to a Motorcycle magazine asking what was suitable replacement for the headlight on a 750S, as the Ducati unit was super $$$. The magazine response was to fit a Hella replacement. The part number was Hella 10...

Re: Good condition fork leg (s) wanted

I have a pair in good condition if you want them. If you pay postage you may have them or any of the other bits and bobs from them. I'm in the USA. -C http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc98/asphaltslamdance/20160701_212510.jpg http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc98/asphaltslamdance/20160701_21253...

Re: Best/recomended oil

Thanks for the reply's..., can anyone confirm the correct oil filter? is p/n 44440035A correct? i.e. this one. eBay item number:171488938201. i did ask and they said; I cannot say for sure as Ducati only provide us with parts info for models manufactured from 1991 onward.

Mc tool wrote:The filter to go for is off a 2CV Citroen , way cheaper than Ducati and the same thing . I ran XLD Valvoline in my SS but I changed the oil every 3000km. More expensive oil will last longer so it sorta works out the same (ish ) . Pick your fave brand , mineral or synthetic :)

Good condition fork leg (s) wanted

A bit of a long shot :-( just wondering if anyone has a pair of good fork legs forsale for my Sport, good meaning no cracks or repairs, i have just had the fork seals replaced but it seems that a previous owner had tried to get the seals out and cracked one of the legs, it could be welded but would ...

Re: Help Please Re: Starter

Hi Steve. Sounds like the starter solenoid is short circuit when warm, or at least a little sticky in action. Once you disconnect the battery it cools down and drops out. The solenoid is connected direct to the battery, and then to the Starter motor, so it makes no difference whether the ignition i...
