Re: Desperate for Carb help/replacement in Colorado

Rant... of course everyone is entitled to his opinions. the DCNF series is very well known to me and I always got them right by simply taking them to a serious weber specialist (2 generations of experience) in my home town in Italy; My own P750 had a complete rebuild and for a while it was OK, unfor...

Re: Desperate for Carb help/replacement in Colorado

The Weber carb on my 88 Paso is a nightmare. The bike hadn't run for a few years and things got gummed up, so a local Ducati performance shop found some parts somewhere and rebuilt it. The bike runs, but anything 0-1/3 throttle was a joke. The shop confessed that they didn't know what to do so I to...

Re: 19.90 paso 750

Pistons are more or less the same, and any OEM or aftermarket (wiseco/ferracci/pistal) piston for SS or Moster 750 will fit the Paso 750. Here I would have to disagree. They do have the same 88mm diameter but they are not the same. The compression ratio is higher. What`s the difference in the cranks...

Re: 19.90 paso 750

Damondarwin's user name seems to suggest that he is in Darwin (in the Northern Territory). If this is the case he is about 3700 km from Bikeboy's shop! :) Having said that, I have heard that Bikeboy is very good. Mike It is still duable. I purchased my (half) engine in Genova (North Italy) sent it ...

Re: 19.90 paso 750

Paso Engines are VERY VERY VERY close to the M750-SS750 engines. the MAIN difference is in the CRACKSHAFT, the Clutch and some parts of the Gearbox and of course the heads where the Paso has big valves and the M750-SS750 has smaller valves. Pistons are more or less the same, and any OEM or aftermarke...
