That is just NORMAL... These days it is very expensive to ship "overseas" .... And we have here inside EU own markets without taxes. I think same is in USA but i dont know, does Australia and New Zealand belong to USA markets or no?... Every market area want to "protect" own mark...

Not all Shindengen regulators are MOSFET. Ducati have used Shindengen regulators since at least the early 2000s and they weren't MOSFET then. Stiv: That power module is made by HUCO and part number is 138083 (ZUNDMODUL / IGNITION MODULE). Price was here in Finland 9.6.2003 45€ (New one from car store)
