Re: Ducati Paso Dual Headlight Conversion
Thanks Higgy, will have to look into it sometime next week. Did find out this easy trouble shoot scheme for locating the problem. Hope it will be the regulator as it is a more easy fix for me. Voltage will be a steady 12,5 V running or not running over the battery for as far is I can tell now. . . [...

Re: Ducati Paso Dual Headlight Conversion
After modification and a first good run without problems, I have a alarm light on, no battery charging when running, and indeed charging the battery is not taking place. A dead battery does not bring you any further. I drained the battery and hoped the engine would still provide energy to the electr...

Re: Case holder
Strange on the Krauser cases, phoned them last summer on some keys to fit the K2 cases. No problem to supply after all these years if the number is known and a reasonable price. I think 18 euro for 3 keys including mailing it to me from Germany to the Netherlands. However they confirmed to me they n...

Re: Ducati Paso Dual Headlight Conversion
Could you explain what you did with the parking light, as there are no holes in the FZ headlight included for this. As in the 907 headlight the parking light is radiating within the reflector, this is not possible to realise in the FZ headlight. I am thinking of drilling a hole through the housing a...

Re: Case holder
Krauser never made a system to suit a Paso / 907
Hepco & Becker have black tubular frames, not fitted like that
Could it be Givi? Here are some topics on luggage systems where also pics are posted. Try your luck there perhaps?

Re: I want to buy a 906 paso
There has been a recent mod where a 907 has been fitted the streamline of the 906. Seems to fit reasonable. Done by a forum member from Germany this winter. He is also active in the facebook group https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/ducatipasoists/ where you might have a quicker responce on your ques...

Re: Thinking of Going Waterless
Indeed, my interest lies in the no corrosions aspects, as well as lifelong use of the fluids. Would not like to see alu parts being eaten away in time.
Who is using it here? Is it an DIY issue or do I have a lof of left-overs on fluids to be stored away. No idea on prices eigher.

Re: Thinking of Going Waterless
Hi there, as I was interested in changing to Evans too, after doing a first service myself on the 907, I was wondering what the experiences are so far. You need an water absorbtion fluid (can be re used) to wash the system free of old remains and than fill it with the Evans coolant. There are some s...

Re: 907ie Oil Change : removing the filter basket
As a next discussion on this topic, I am also doing a minor maintenance on the bike. Changed belts and oil, oilfilter. All nice and no metal parts on the screenmof the first filter. Also included a new oilfilter and topped it up with fresh oil 10W50. Now on the level of the oil. It mentioned a hot e...

Re: Timing belt replacement
I am ordering parts as well for a belt change, mine were replaced in 2008 together with oil, oilfolter, sparkplugs and airfilter. Looking up the partsnumbers in the catalog at the motorcycle shop, all parts pointed out belts are the same as on the 916. Strange to me, as this is a DOHC and 907 has a ...

Re: Chainslider conversion
Would it be an option to fit the plastic slider to the frame uring the hole in line with the hole on the aluminuim frame, fix it and heat up the plastic to remodel the shape to fit the aluminium? It seams there is some length left in the chainslider and I hate to drill holes in the original parts, r...
