Re: Time flies

Winter is over in Holland so i took my Paso out for a spin. As my garage is a bit damp i had some electrical problems so i cleaned all the connectors which solved all the electrical problems. Guess what, the clock is also running perfectly!

Re: New tires ?

I wonder if I should change both or only the rear tyre. The case for the rear tyre is obvious, better fit and shape so it will improve ride and handling for sure but i am not so sure about changing the front tyre. My tyres are practically new (Front metzeler sportec m3 130/70 and back Avon 150/80 az...

Re: shrieking sound clutch

As it is winter in Holland, I have started repairs on my slave piston. I have a piston with 2 bearings inside, where the upper bearing has loose bearing balls , the one of the 906. I replaced the balls with new ones and put new grease in it. Everything seems to run smooth . I am now waiting for a ne...

thank God we don't have anything like that in Holland. We do have "APK" for cars but not for motorcycles.

shrieking sound clutch

My clutch makes an incredible irritating shrieking sound which is coming from the slave piston ball bearing. I already tried to lubricate the bearing but the sounds returns after hundred kilometers or so. It only makes the sounds when the clutch is engaged, so during idling and riding, disengaged wi...

Re: strange clutch noise

I recently solved a screeching sound from the clutch by cleaning and lubricating the bearing in the cover with a bit of WD40 and a bit of grease (not too much!!). By the way: this is how a PASO clutch looks and sounds like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2o36o_vPsP0 (i made a little video of my clut...

Engine running bad when tank is less than half full

When my fuel tank is less than half full my engine is beginning to run bad. The emptier the tank, the worse it gets. This way I can only drive for about 140 km (80 miles) This surely has something to do with fuel pressure, is there any way I can increase the pressure? May be a different fuel pump?

Time flies

Time flies when you're having fun, certainly when you are riding a Paso. But the clock on my PASO dash is taking this too literally, it's running way too fast. An hour takes about a minute to pas, you can see the handles moving. Anybody seen this before? Maybe a simple solution?

Re: New 750 Paso owner

Hi Witzie, Welkom op het forum! Lots of useful information here. Did your Paso already have the Avons when you bought it? Cheers, Mike The previous had them fitted before I bought it, I think it rides very good with this setup. The rear tyre is a 150/80-16, it is bigger than the original size but t...

New 750 Paso owner

Hi there, A month ago I bought this 1990 Ducati 705 PASO https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UCyNpKDwZuk/TgxbWSJvwhI/AAAAAAAAAd0/DtNAS6McekY/Ducati%252520002s.JPG It's my first Ducati, before this one I had a Kawasaki ZL1000 for almost 21 years. A Paso is something completely different, i have become...
