Re: UK Paso meeting

Not sure whose white paso it was. Someone said it was over there but I never got to see it. Was it the Tricolore one with Baines stickers on that was on ebay recently?

My 906 was the red one with the remains of someones kebab under it, Mr Steeles was the blue one with a puddle of oil under it.

Re: UK Paso meeting

We had just shy of 350 Italian bikes there. Paso wise there was me and Mr Steele plus a 907 that came in (anyone from here) and a white 906 that was at the other end of the show. This show is now the biggest Italian vehicle show outside Italy. One guy rode a Ducati 916 in from Switzerland and left e...

Re: UK Paso meeting

Looks like an underwhelming response. The virtual people that inherit these forums dont actually want to get out at all and have most likely checked into rehab at the thoughtof going outdoors in April. As usual Mr Steele just you and I, we could have a UK meeting in a phone box and not fill it. inci...

Re: Rear shock

The shock is a gas / air unit. The remote reservoir contains air under pressure 6 bar and provides the compression damping. This is seperate from the oil totally unlike the more usual emulsion type shocks. When I overhauled mine I just filled it completely with a 5 grade fork oil and the piston move...

Re: Petrol tank hoses

Usually "Y" pieces are used in windscreen washer pipes. Any automotive supplier should help you. Otherwise, a steel one from an high pressureair plant of industrial machinery  Most of the automotive Y and T pieces on sale here are smaller than required and in plastic. I dont like...

Re: Petrol tank hoses

Have experienced fuel starvation on other bikes before and its not unlike running onto reserve tank. Took bike out last night and after sustained high speed run up gradient on M4 from Severn bridge bike just cut again. Got it going after a while. Stripped it tonight, filter in tank badly blocked hen...

Petrol tank hoses

Ran out of petrol yesterday right by a garage fortunately. Loads of fuel visible in tank and still some showing on gauge. Only managed to get 15 litres (21 litre tank) so lots still in there. Could it be the hoses for the feed and pump return are reversed where they exit the tank? Suggestions please...

Re: Coolant Bottle repairs

I roughed it up thoroughly before applying the adhesive with a coarse wet and dry paper then cleaned it using solvent. I found it needed 24 hours to go off but helped its initial cure with a hot air gun.

It has Baines racing stickers on it, was much cleaner than mine (but non std paint) and had obviously had some money spent on it. Nice to see we arent all alone in the area.

Re: sightings thread

This 'Tricolore' 906 and very very tidily done too was spotted at Riders Bristol today. Was it anyone from here???? Mine was the red 906 parked obscuring the door. Fine 906 effort, just above freezing, blowing a gale with flurries of snow and 2 Paso' out and about. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums...
