I checked just, that 907IE, ST2 and ST4S have samekind starters and 750 Paso different one. But whatkind 906 have? P750 or 907IE model? Btw, You are "lucky" if generator is ok, as if it fails, then it cost doubble (to rectifier) and have to open left side of engine...

Stiv, I have also one spare power module in my shelves, but never needeed it yet. It was from some car what use same module and exact same numbers on it. I have also some spare 907ie ECU's if You need such. But never use any multimeter to test MOSFET Regulator! MOSFET is such component (inside unit)...

Ducati DIDNT managed to sell enough Paso's in USA (as price was too high compared to jap bikes) and thats why rest of them "sailed around world" and at the end they were sold in Europe for lowered price. TRUTH! UGH!

I DONT have 906, only 1xP750 and 3x907IE, so question: Does all Paso's have SAMEKIND starter??? I havent checked those very closely, even not from spare part catalogue. Maybe also ST2 have samekind, as 907IE?

I have seen, that many 907IE's have been sold in UK last years, so dont worry, as You will find one for You, but be patient to find just "that one" ...

If regulator is failed, it can broke also alternator in left side of engine and SAME VIA VERSA. Allways with such problems have to measure insulations of generator (with suitable insulation meter/tester, what gives 250 test voltage!)and also all wires with Ohm meter. Regulator CANT be measured 100% ...

Seems, thay are with that SMALL OUTPUT HOLE, like "USA version P750" Silentiums.

Seems, You have also changed calipers and master cylinder...

Still one note: Take all such connectors away and WELD wires very well and insulate them with 2 layers of heat shrink! Most of those regulator/generator problems are caused by poor/resistive CONNECTORS ! I know, i am elecrician...
