This looks interesting, an open source wideband controller https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NF__ujk_xzQ     I run a 14point7 unit with my MyECU... but i notice that they also sell a controller (for a bosch 5 wire sensor) suitable for circuit board integration for $40 he...

Re: Fuel pump removal

My biggest problem is the occasional blown relay that allows bike to start after priming. happens about every other yr or so. Sometimes I have to take the fan relay and switch it over to get home. That's strange but familiar one... i used to have a 2002 900SS which did the same thing. I used to car...

Re: Howdy from a newbie in Aus (Melb) - Looking at a 750

that Paso has been up for sale for quite some time. The rear tire is a Pirelli MP7. They stopped making them in the mid 90s. Fork legs and side stand seem to be bare metal and not repainted silver. The clutch lever is bent (why?). The original chainguard is missing as is the rubber grommet that hol...

Re: Howdy from a newbie in Aus (Melb) - Looking at a 750

it is also clearly an import (as the seller notes)... the US taillight and MPH speedo. So i'd be double checking the numbers. From the pictures the paint looks very "flat" for a pearl respray. Seems like it is missing a gloss coat but that can be hard to tell in photos online But my bigges...

Re: LED dashboard conversion

On the fuel gauge issue I just got a sender from an ST2 and plan to spend the weekend fitting it to the 907. ST2 uses a tubular type and should be a lot steadier than the float arm of the Paso Hi Higgy, How did you go getting the ST2 fuel gauge sender going? I know you can still buy new 907 fuel se...

Yeah, rights seem easier to come by. My local store of old parts has right hand 851/888 lenses which are very similar.

Re: LED headlight bulbs - H4

I've done this conversion a while ago and I decided to run dual 35w HID's. The HID's are wired for power through an accessory relay to the battery (less voltage loss that way) and use the factory headlight plug as the control circuit (the set up was originally meant for a car using one of the origin...

Re: MyECU - Experience or Maps

Hi guys, Just thought i'd put my 2 cents in about the MyECU. I've had the usual stumbles and tried the usual fixes including alternate chips and pro/dyno tunes with AF sensors but it seems unless you can get your hands on a FIM chip they all have shortcomings when it just doesn't have to be that way...

I've seen the 907 on the road.... i am a semi local and was surprised to see the standard cans on the bike. its pretty straight, clean and one of the best i have seen that is not a museum piece and has actually been ridden.

Re: How tall is too tall for a Paso?

To tall? I am 194cm and find the Paso a good fit to ride 900km in a day. Yes the leg position is almost sportsbike high but that has never troubled me and over a long distance the upright upper body is much easier than a sports bike. I've always liked the way the leg recesses almost fit my legs natu...

Re: LED dashboard conversion

Has anyone come up with a way to make the instrument needles more visible at night? I've cleaned up the lighting part but when riding at night the speedo and tacho needles are pretty much invisible. Has anyone found back lit needles or played with repainting the needles themselves?

Re: 907ie misfire - maybe a cure???

+1 I'm another convert to this simple solution. I ended up using a small wad of fabric cotton and while the miss is still "there" i actually find myself riding in the dreaded rpm zone for hundreds of metres before i notice that the bike isn't as smooth as at other times. Unlike previously ...
