Re: I'm Thinking of having my wheels powder coating freshene

Curious how you are planning to match the white. I guess there is a multitude of shades of white. I also guess with regular paint one could have any shade of white made up. Is this possible with powder coating. Any powder coating experts here?

Oh no! You can’t ask that question! There’s going to tears - you mark my words. It’s like asking what oil to use on a Ducati bevel

Re: Buying secondhand

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum. There does seem to be a big difference in prices, some in dealers want four or five thousand. However, they never seem to sell! I paid about a grand for a non runner 2 or three years ago. There’s not a grea5 demand for them so you should get a decent price between 1 a...

Re: Rear calliper plate

Cheers Frank, I thought it very unlikely to be different but I wanted to be 100% sure. Reason being I have accumulated the odd thing on eBay Over the years that might be the same- but turn out not to be ! Don’t want to add to the pile of bits. I see one at £18.85 on eBay so will take this option. Th...

Rear calliper plate

Does anyone know for sure if the 750 paso and 906 Paso rear calliper mounting plate is the same. (The alum8nium part that the calliper bolts to with one corner of the plate having the rear wheel spindle going through it). The stein dense diagrams look identical although the parts numbers are differe...

The shock looks great. What type is it? Also what length did you go for? Is this standard. Inquiring minds need to know (well I need to know for future options on mine!

Re: master cylinder rebuild - a few thoughts and my experien

Just to add my own experience into the discussion I have had issues with incorrect size ‘lock rings with brembos’ on a couple of occasions over the last 20 years. The locking ring had insufficient interference to the bore to successfully hold the assembly in place. In the end I made my own ring on m...

Re: New Member from Yorkshire, UK

Hi Tiger man. Nice 906. I especially like the floating discs. Any idea where they are from? I love my 906 as I find the suspension modern enough(just!J and the riding position nice and comfortable. The power available is nearly enough which Means I can give it a complete thrashing and make a LOT of ...

Re: New member from Slovakia

Welcome. I have found this forum incredible useful. So useful a quick search of the old posts usually answers my question without a fresh post. I think because of this the posting rate seems low but tucked away is the answer you probably need. Stay safe

Re: Fuel tank fixing

Thanks every one for your responses. As wise people say, never assume. I just assumeD the one fancy factory looking bolt was standard! How wrong I was. I will knock up some sort of sleeve for a nice stainless bolt or s9mething,
Thanks again

Fuel tank fixing

OK, having had to remove the tank and panels about a million times whilst sorting out carb issues, the missing tank bolt has bugged me. Does any one know the part number or if it’s used on other Ducati’s (would be weird if it wasn’t! ( I cannot see the bolt on the excellent stein dense website). I e...

NOS 750 paso side panel red for sale

Hi, I stupidly jumped in on a new old stock side panel for my paso The other week on eBay. It’s red and has been perfectly stored. Unfortunately I discovered the bottom edge has 2 fixing points on the 906 But 3 on the 750! So utterly useless for my 906. Arghhhhhh. I paid 60 pounds and 6 pounds posta...

Re: 750S Brought back to Life

Hi Roger, Many thanks for your comprehensive reply. I think you have a very sweet bike there. All the benefits of a modern bike wrt suspension, brakes and rubber in a nice sounding package that will just beg to be thrashed. I must admit I have lost the joy of modern 150 bhp Ducati’s as I ultimately ...
