Re: Rear shock options
I have a Hagon shock on my 907 it came with it when I bought it, I had thought about changing It but I think it performs quite well. I do enjoy a high speed ride and found it keeps the wheel to the road quite well. That said I have not experienced the original Marzocchi or Ohlins unit and I am no GP...

Re: Lithium Batteries
I have a jmt battery fitted to my 907ie and my Benelli 900 Sei and these have been fine. I have not altered the charging system on either bike from standard and all has been fine for the last 3 years. I do have a special lithium battery charger and have fitted battery isolators on both bikes. If a l...

Re: Upgrading front fork springs
I did buy original seals as some of the pattern ones had bad reviews. I did take the fork legs off the bike to fit the seals.

Upgrading front fork springs
The front fork seals were leaking so I decided to take the forks apart, last week by chance a set of HyperPro progressive springs came up for £27.00 inc postage bargain! . I have today stripped the forks and cleaned them out ready for reassemble. I am just waiting for the new seals to arrive and aft...

Re: Sluggish starter
It could be a sluggish starter soliniod mine was playing up recently and it was a corroded connection which when cleaned cured the problem. You can also upgrade the large supply cables to the starter as they are undersized and have difficulty delivering the power to the starter!

Coronavirus
I haven’t been on the forum for the last month as me and my family have had coronavirus. All I can say is it makes you very unwell and takes a long time to get over! My advice is to keep safe until you get vaccinated. My wife described it as not like any flu she has ever had and I have had an ambula...

Re: Coolant temperature gauge
I think you may be right about the batteries the charging on the bike is from a wire wound coil the same as my old charger has! The quality of lithium batteries depends on how the man in China has made it. Maybe after corona virus companies will be less willing to source manufacturing there. With th...

Re: Coolant temperature gauge
Re your lithium battery my battery went flat and my lithium charger would not recharge it. I put an old 12v charger with a wire wound transformer on it for 1 hour then put it back on the lithium charger and it then fully recharged. Lithium batteries are strange things!
