Re: 1988 Paso 750 finally running with the Weber

Sounds good . I found with my 906 that even removing the air box cover made it spit and fart and backfire . I guess you could "jet " your way around that if you wanted that intake howl , and lets face it , thats something no petrol head should ever grow out of :D . Fortunately mine has a p...

Blue Cod , arguably the best table fish in NZ. Also got a 1.5m shark and a leather jacket , cut the end off my finger filleting them.

Re: Shinko tyres again available

I dunno so much for not being collectable ..... well not at the moment but there was a bit going on at Ducati when the pasos were made , bit of new technology , winning some good races and the bikes themselves are a bit unique . I think that in years to come serious Ducati collectors are going to wa...

Re: 1988 Paso 750 airbox gasket placement and accelerator pump lever pivot point

Oh I do understand the compulsion to try and fix the weber , mostly coz at full noise they are great and also because , to my mind , its just a tuning issue and thusly shouldnt be un-fixable , chuck in a bit of OCD and you'll be up all night :D :D There are a couple of books by John Passini on weber...

Re: 1988 Paso 750 airbox gasket placement and accelerator pump lever pivot point

The accelerator pump timing , duration and fuel volume has a major influence on throttle opening behavior , which is one of the main bugs with the weber carb in this application ..... flat spots and bogging when applying the throttle . The main reason for fitting Mikunis or Del Ortos Some forum memb...

Re: 900ss Mufflers on a 907 ?

It has steel liners , and that was the issue . Some guy took it to the local rural garage for a rebuild and they #ucked it up , fitted liners and bored them to tight and it seized almost straight away , the guy packed a shitty and chucked in the shed ..... for 20 years . there was ,apparently a bit ...

Re: 900ss Mufflers on a 907 ?

I got given my bike . We had to use loppers to cut all the ivy that had grown up thru the bike just to be able to move it . I have since bought another stock disc and a pair of f08 calipers and the spacer with the intention of going double disc . Probly should drag it outa the shed and give it a run...

Re: Instrument panel screen

There is an outfit in Australia called Gowanloch Ducati ,and they had Paso parts and if I recall correctly they had some instrument parts ,this was a while ago but worth a try . Also keep an eye on ebay as thats where I got my spare parts from . They come up from time to time .
