Actual size... (M59, A59)

Please, when time and schedule permit, could the gentleman (men or lady) with a stash of new Michelins in the closet/garage/shed favor us with a measurement of the actual diameters and widths of the specimens they hold so that these values can be compared to some actual dimensions of existing tire c...

Re: Weber or Dellorto/Mikuni; Final Answer?!

I purchased my '87 Paso with 40mm Del'Ortos and I am very pleased with the set-up. The carbs are real easy to adjust or rebuild, and they are Italian, and they work w/o fail. No fuel pump in the system is, I believe a good thing. The Del'ortos are simple and appropriate to the 750 Paso methinks and ...

Re: New Paso (to me) Familiar Problem (To You) TYRES - advice

I don't know if i should laugh or cry after seeing this cupboard of Michelins! Are you sure they are safely tucked away? A man sometimes creates for himself a false sense of security about these things and it starts to naw at him, work at his psyche 'till he can't sleep and the stress of his big sec...

Well, son of a gun, you lucky so and so. Who's got those tires for sale? Again, nice job procuring the tires. Of course, you'll never make it out of this forum alive... Say, there is currently a headlight lens for sale in the US on eBay.I believe I've been seeing it there for about a week. Good luck...

Re: New Paso (to me) Familiar Problem (To You) TYRES - advice

so, congratulations! now please tell us about your tires. what did you install and how do they fit?? i would think the 80 sizes would be too tall for swingarm and for front fender. i'm looking for a pirelli sport demon 120/70 - 16 M/C 57P TL and a pirelli sport demon 150/70 - 16 M/C 68S TL, but i'm ...

Re: 16" slicks in the 130/60 16 size

Well, thank you all. Sorry about the steep learning curve represented by my tire size naiveté. The Paso I've lost my heart to has Akront rims on Marvic rims, ala 851 Strada. 3.5" front width rim, 5.0 rear width rim. I like the Avon Azzaros i'd love to fit a AV45 130/70 to the front and a AV46 1...

Re: 16" slicks in the 130/60 16 size

Thanks for your sage advise. I will heed it and let them go. Say, is there any problem putting a 120 width tire an a 3.5" paso rim? And just to drive you crazy, I'll go ahead and ask: would a 130/70 16 likely be smaller in diameter than a 120/80 16 size. I owe everyone a round. Best wishes, Ran...
