I had a similar problem, idled @ 3k. Gear in and slow clutch release the only ting to take it down. I got recommendation from a duc-shop to check the idle air mix, turning 1/2 turns in or out to start with. I did not do it myself, the bike was in for service for other reason and I asked them to make...

New fork?

Have anyone changed the fork on the Paso? Any suggestion what to look for, future upgrades. I have legs from a monster 600 2001 available here. There are no problems with the brakes, I have converted to 4 pots Brembo 34/30 65mm mounting. Works very nice. Thanks Gerhard Hippe and Harige Harr...

Hello, I noticed that the carbs won't get clean. The Gunk stuff can be very tricky to get hold of here. Another thing: The fuel pump was on and I plan to remove it. I assume I have to mount on a separate open/close vent then? Is there any electric open/close vent available somewhere? Use the same el...

hello,

I'll check out for this "carb soaking solution" here in Sweden.

I started with clean the bodies in petrol and a tothbrush, but there are a lot that still on the carbs. Seems like it is oxidate on the bodies.

It's a pair of Dells PHM 40.

Carb cleaning

Finally starting to dismantle the bike before the spring!

Starting with the carbs: clean, change cables and gaskets.

The question, what is the best to clean the carbs with?

Dellorto & fuel regulator

Hello,

I saw in some guides for the Weber, that a fuel regulator is a good investment for the low rpm handling, decresing the pressure to 2.5-3.

Is it the same when the bike has Dellorto 40s mounted?

Will it be an advantage to mount a regulator and decrease the pressure?

Got the bike September this year and I will do a complete maintenence of it, starting with the fork. Is there any mainten...
