But I've already fitted the Ryco filter.I took the bike for a decent ride yesterday to test all the tyre mods that I've done and had no dramas with the oil filter.

did you fix the rear end of the swingarm with a large spacer while doing that ? I would be afraid that the swingarm ends would move inwards when applying pressure to the middle section. I tried to find one of those but Citroen 2CV's are as rare as rocking horse s@#t over here and so are their oil filters.

G'day Antti, Thanks.Polishing those parts was a long,painful exercise which consisted of sanding all the anodising off the aluminium using 180,380,600 grit wet n dry.Then I used a high speed wax buff to bring it up to a mirror shine.During the whole process I lost several layers of skin off my finge...

I tried turning the sprocket around to gain more clearance but this has been known to put unwanted stress on the bolts causing them to break.
