Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyre review
Hi Gents, back in January, i put a set of BT023`s on mine. Very happy with them for grip and wear. Previous comment: I`m always sus when hear dual compounds mentioned, as the ones i get seem to be the wrong way round - hard on the sides and soft in the middle....... This time i think i got the corre...

Hi Gert, i have not done anything to the chain guard except put some inox spray or WD40 on it. Keeps the plastic looking shiny i suppose.

Hi fredskidoo,no not stock, the previous owner had a mate who polished rims.
I was so close to painting them back to the original white just before i put the tyres on this time, but i chickened out. i might look for a second set of rims. I don`t think it`s cheap to polish rims?

Trying Bridgestone Battlax BT023 Sport Touring tyres.
Hi Guys, just bought a new set of Bridgestones. I liked the old set which were BT020`s so i`d thought i would stick with the same brand. They tell me these ones are a true `sport tourer` which has a hard section in the middle and a softer section on the sides. They have actually labelled the tyres `...

Re: New adjustable preload rear shock
Hi, yes i agree the spring may be a bit soft. It doesn`t seem to be an issue solo though. I will be trying source a harder one i think. The original spring won`t fit as it is shorter. The Bracket i made for the remote adjuster was fitted using the 2 bolts holding the rear brake master cylinder. I pa...

New adjustable preload rear shock
Hi guys, just thought someone may be interested in what i fitted to my 907ie. The standard shock was rebuilt but the rebound faded out after a short period which was the original problem. I was warned that rebuilds on these are not always successful. I purchased a new rear shock (marzocchi) from eba...
