Quicker Steering

If you?ve raised the back end to get quicker steering, and you?ve got it as high as it will go on the suspension but you?d like to quicken the steering more, you can raise the back up to about 20mm more by setting the rear wheel spindle in the low position in the swing arm (unless it?s there already, or course).

You just have to loosen the screws clamping the eccentrics, just as when you adjust the chain tension, and then swing the spindle forward and into the new position. It?s a simple operation, but it can be quite heavy work, and don?t forget to reset the chain tension when you reclamp the eccentrics.
