Asymmetric low beam??

Post by nilaus »

Hi there.

I have just got my PASO home from the UK to Denmark. Is it possible
to alter the asymmetric low beam from left side drive to right side
drive, or do I need to mount a new head lamp?
Regards
Klaus

Congratulations on the arrival of your Paso, nilaus!

If it helps, the Parts Book (which I believe you can get under 'Downloads' in the Registered User Menu) lists three complete headlight units - Complete head-light, Complete head-light (USA), and R.H. drive complete head-light.

Have you examined the bulb, or tried to open the head-light unit?

probably the best thing to do would be to replace (and upgrade your headlamp) to the FZ750 unit for on the continent. The fizzer light has 2 bulb sockets and reflectors and is more or less a drop in replacement (you should put in a relay)

Hi Mike

Are you saying that there are no modifications needed regarding changing the headlamp unit, only whirring. It even looks ok.

Hi Skins

Thanks! And there were no freight damages. Pew! :D
