Stock Mikuni 5C19 Needles

Post by RADDUCK »

Hello All,

Preparing to do the Mikuni Swap here in a few weeks. Got a set of Mikuni BDST-38's from a 900SS CR/SP. It came with Y-2 Needle Jets, I ordered the Proper Y-6 Needle. It also came with 5C22 Needles. I was wondering if any of you that installed the Dyno Jet Stage 1 or Stage 2 kits kept the stock 5C19 Needles and would be willing to part with them. I live at 8,500' so I would like to try the stock setup before going with the Dynojet kit.

Send me a P.M.

Thanks!

Gunther

Those carbs as set up for the 900 might be too rich alreary. You are at high altitude tho....

Look at the needles and jets used on the Monster 750, that should give you an idea of where to be, at least at sea level!
