Gas for the DellOrtos

Post by ahdoman »

Hey all,
I am in the process of updating a bunch of things that need to be done on the Paso. One of the main things is I'm going to braided steel on everything including fuel lines. Does anybody have any recommendations for how to run the fuel lines? I've also seen several comments about using, not using or replacing the fuel pump altogether. Any ideas?

Hey, ahdoman! Welcome to the group.

I believe gravity is enough with DellOrtos - a fuel pump is not required. On my bike I simply have high-quality unbraided line, running from the tank outlet over the top of the back cylinder inlet pipe to a T-union, then to the carbs. Everything is tight and stiff enough so that it can be set up not to contact anything en route.
