Steep hills

Post by woody »

Hi guys
I,ve got a 750 sport with the stock Webber carb.

Yesterday I had to stop on a steep hill at traffic lights after about 30 seconds my bike stalled I started it up again but it would only run on one pot.

Got about a k down the road and all came right again.

Took it for a run over the Whangamata hills today and she went like a dream.

Is this just a Webber thing or somthing else?

 Hey, Kiwi! Howzit going?

I believe the Weber needs a pressure regulating valve fitted on the feed from the tank in order to work properly. Apparently with the ragulator fitted they are really good. Can't remember the details, I'm afraid. If you search the site for 'weber' etc, I think you'll find the info you need. Good luck!

Nah, mate ... I'm afraid I'm a somewhat unsociable bugger. Mostly I ride alone, but I have ridden with other people, because if it happens, it happens. Used to get up to the BOP now and again, but not lately.
Dunno anything about a Duc club in NZ, but I guess there is one. I was in IMOC (Italian Motorcycle Owners Club), which looked really good, for a while. They do lots of good things, I believe. I would recommend them.
