Not Starting

Last time I rode my paso stalled as i pulled into my APT complex, Now it wont start, I charged the batter to full. the starter cranks but the engine doesnt catch on, Im getting fuel. Now what seems strange to me is that with the key in but not in the on position i get voltage to all 4 coil leads, When i turn on and try to start im getting no voltage to the plug side. Is this normal, im missing something i know. I really dont have the space to dismantle this bike just yet, but is it possible that i may have a broken timing belt? Im in need of help here in the SF BAY Area. My breakdown manula doesnt pinot me in the right direction. Bike only has 8300 miles on it.

check the back of the ignition barrel as well as a possible short in the right hand side switches on the bars
