Alternative Fairing Fasteners

Post by Ducalisti »

My bud's 748 has those great Dzus 1/4 turn body fasteners, and my idea was to adapt some to my Paso. Seems like it would work, some mods to the inner peices though. Anyone tried this before?

Nope. I like those little screws. Also, they're very aerodynamic.

No, but I've thought about it myself. I just haven't had the opportunity to get started with it; my laundry list of things to do/fix/alter is too long. ;) But if you get into it, keep me/us posted. I'd be interested in swapping out to use Dzus fasteners, if it wasn't too invasive or potentially damaging.

Might get expensive though, eh? Dzus ain't cheap, I don't think ...
Just because you're not dead doesn't necessarily mean you're living, either.
