I looked into getting a full set of second skins for the Paso from Airtech a couple years ago - not carbon fibre, though, just fibreglass - and that looked to run about $900-1000USD. Figure carbon fibre will definitely be north of that.
Also, I understand Airtech's stuff doesn't have the same heft/weight as stock - it's lighter and weaker, since it's considered "cast-off" for races, know what I mean?

Just because you're not dead doesn't necessarily mean you're living, either.

Just for fun sometime, you should try riding your Paso without the fibreglass. You just take it all off (being very careful with the headlight section so you don't damage the instrument panel mounts) and then hang the oil coolers off the fairing brackets.
It makes quite a difference to acceleration and handling.
To really have fun, take off the tank also, and rig up a small temporary fuel cell.

Skins - you've ridden w/o the tank & skin? I've ridden w/o some of the skin - usually while testing some recent repair, and only up & down the street. That's gotta feel pretty strange, without the bodywork on it ...
