How long have you owned your Paso and how many miles on it?

Post by Extra260 »

I thought it might be interesting to see what the average length of time the current owners have owned their Pasos and to see how many mile the bikes have on them.

I have mine since march 5 2004, bought it with 56.000 km, did not ride it that much, about 1000 km...

The engine should be overhauled; it's leaking a lot and makes too much noise, fork is leaking, clutch cilinder has to be renewed, the bolts of the sprocket on the rear wheel have a little space... a lot of work to be done an no time or money to spend at the moment...

But i will never sell it!

I bought my paso in April of 04, it is my first bike ever, it had 20,000mil on it and i put 1,000 since. Some ass pulled out of a drive way and i had no other choice but to put her down. I love riding this bike. my friend has a 2003 CBR and he gets mad because my paso gets more atention then his 954 CBR.

PS. neeed help finding parts for the left side body panil and mirror/turning signal kit. please anyone.

 Five years and nine months, 52,761 km on the clock, 20,130 by me. Would have been more, but for almost two years tyres were unobtainable in New Zealand. Boy, was I happy when they made some more!

I've had mine for a little over two years, but I'm not sure how many miles I've put on it exactly ... I'm on my third speedo cable; I went most of last season without one. I'd guess I've put 7-8k miles on it. I'm preparing for its 12k valve service regardless, and I got the bike 4k on the clock.

The Paso shares the road with my '97 Monster, with +38k miles on it ... :D

Hy,

have my Paso bought in 2000, with 15'000 km on the clock..drove it for 3 years...now the Paso stands well covered.. no time and other bike to ride (Monster and ST4).

'Cause the Paso has an 'unidentified' history, I'd like to know how to 'read' out of the frame-ID the year it was built.. any ideas??
The frame-ID is ZDM750P75204... does anyone know whitch year this means??

Thanxs for your help

Cheers from switzerland

you're missing a digit. 75204 (needs to be 6) unless you're omitting the last one. in that case, if it's a 752nnn it's a late 87 or early 88. The cutoff is around 752200.

From ducati's perspective, they changed to the black triple tree and grab rail in '88.

Dear Mike,

according your advice, I checked the the frame ID and I noticed that I was missing one digit.. frame-ID is ZDM750P752054.. so I suppose it's a late '87.

Thanx again
