Hi everyone ---- I am a new guy to DUCATIPASO.ORG and am totally lost!
Over 20 years ago I was the very proud owner of a 900SS and loved it dearly.
Now I am the proud owner of a 1987 - 750 Paso with 28K miles, which I purchased on Saturday.
However - I have now really looked at the bike and identified I need new tires, new rotors and new timing belts, but I cannot find any anywhere?
My question is how do you guys ride your bikes or did you accumulate parts over the years to maintain your bikes.
The PASO is a beautiful bike and I am hoping one day to again be a proud owner and have it on the road enjoying a "Duke" again.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and I hope I am in the correct area of the site for these questions.

Welcome New Ducati Paso Owner!

New tires are available from several sources, new timing belts are avaialble from Ducati, new rotors could be a small problem, try used first from ebay or other etc. if that does not work, email me I can help you search.

www.bevelheaven.com is a good source for a variety of gasket kits, master cylinder rebuild kits, brake calipers, master cylinders, timing belts, etc.

They stock quite a few parts for the Pantah vintage bikes, including the Paso (especially the 750).

Thay don't have OEM brake rotors, but they sell full-floating replacement rotors that will fit the Paso.

Can you say "Ebay"? a special vendor there, 'guzzitech' has many many Pasos and probably has parts you need in fairly decent shape ready for refurbishment. Welcome and congratulations on your choice of Duc. Your choice of the Paso is indicative of your discerning nature and high aesthic ideals. They are brilliant. They are sickness.

Unless the rotors are warped, I've never seen any Paso rotors that were worn thin enough to need replacing. They may only need to be cleaned and repainted/refinished.

Because the original cast rotors are nice and thick, it is possible to have them machined flat if they are not too badly warped. I had mine machined when they developed a slight warp.

Can't remember whether I has one or both done - it was a few years ago.
