Goldentyre Paso tires

Post by GoldenTyreUSA »

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to drop in for a moment to let everyone know that the shipment of the Paso tires to the US has been delayed a bit.

For all of you that are sending emails in regards to purchasing those tires, I ask to be a bit patient. I have a list going and as soon as the tires are on US soil I will contact everyone back.

Thank you for understanding and we look forward to fulfill all your tires needs as soon as possible.

Ride hard, be safe!

Add me, too.

Just wondering, how long is the list vs. how many sets of tires there will be?

Hello Stefy,

Please take my name off the Golden Tyre list of fools. I have gone with the conversion to current tires at $243 for the set. I waited for Golden Tyres to come through for several months only to find out almost every country was supplied with the tires except the U.S. even Canada which has maybe ten bikes. I am thoroughly disgusted with your non-performance.

I wonder if they are having problems certifying with U.S. DOT.

Hello everyone!

I first want to apologize for the lack of communication since my original post but it was out of our hands until I had confirmation about the shipment of those so awaited tires.

A container has been ship and the ETA is confirmed for January 8th.

For the ones that are interested in placing an order, pre-orders are now available.
Price is $390 set shipping included for everyone on the list, as a courtesy to you for having awaited this long.

Thank you for your patience.

Happy Holidays!

I emailed them directly at their contact email listed above. They sent me a paypal invoice this morning for both tires - $390, including shipping. Seems a fair price for unobtainium. :)

I got a notification via email this morning from GoldenTyre. I replied requesting 1 set, and they invoiced me using PayPal within minutes.

This is some great news!

$390 a set??? snap them up!!

Just shows how much we are being ripped off here in the UK

Mytyres.co.uk online price is £397.90 per set (equivalent to $642.12 or 492.54 Euros) when their german sister company Reifendirekt.de quotes them as 338.80 Euros per set. I cant believe this price difference is due to shipping costs as it CANNOT be more expensive to ship to the UK from Italy than it is to the USA. Sad thing is that when the tyres were first listed in the UK they were comparable to the Euro price but the price was then hiked up. I fully accept that companies are in business to make a profit but this just feels wrong

ps reifdirekt wont ship to the UK, say you have to use guess who? yep mytyres.co.uk
