Got my first ducati, and my first paso a couple weeks ago for 350 dollars.....it was a little rough.
wiring upgrade was done....poorly
some body work done.....poorly
and the guy just let it sit after he chopped into it.
got it running and riding, fixed the coil relay that had a jumper between the two signal wires and bled the brakes and clutch.
rigged up and ignition switch for now.. but not for long.
its got 2 brand new tires on it!!!!

ITS AWESOME! didnt think i would like it this much. more tinkering to do and some parts to find. but its great.
Just need to share how happy i am with it....lots of work ahead still though.

add your location to your profile !

For $350 there wasn`t anything you could`ve done wrong. Alone that exhaust and the clutch cover are worth more than that :)
First thing before you do anything else replace those belts if a. the last time it was done more than 2 years ago or b. you don`t know when or if that was done.
There`re more expenses coming towards you like new tires.
Have fun with it, it`s a good basis for making it a really nice bike.

G'day Joe,
The first thing you should do is get rid of those ugly cans, the Paso looks so much better with the original mufflers.....infact I have a set you can have for free! Just post me your D&D cans and I'll dispose of them for you

But seriously, you can't go wrong for $350. Just do everything Paso750 suggests (and most of the forum members...in particular the Grand Pooh Bahs) as they know their shit
Happy days will follow

Nothing like a cheap bike to make a great 5 year project.
Ride it like you stole, because you basically did, but the cops won't be chasing you down.
Only thing faster than a rental is a cheap bike.
Have fun.

Cheers, Phil
