What's the normal price for the original Paso part?
I mean a factory correct one.
It doesn`t exist, that`s the point of this topic.
Stein Dinse lists the one of the 696 for €13.90.

Do you mean that Ducati wasn't selling it separately to begin with?

I'm asking because I found one, so I'd like to know the correct price if it's known.

OK. I see someone was selling a new one in the 907 section in august for $100.

This one comes out to about $75, which is still quite a bit.

I`ve talked to TM Designworks in the US two weeks ago. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/
They could make the swingarm chain slider for the Paso. (not the small one for the center stand though)
Like usual minimum order quantity would be 100 pieces (or more). No info about costs until they get a new original chain slider for evaluation and as sample.
I`ll not be following up on this at current time but I wouldn`t want this info to get lost.

With the help of Mctool I've mapped out the swingarm chain slider, I can send the file to you or Jon if you want. I am going to hopfully get a 3D print made soon so that I can take it to one of the local plastics companies and see what they can do.

Do you have this file in STL Format?
I can access sometimes a 3D Printer and build parts in Poliamide 12 or Nylon. These parts would be for free, just shipping

Very nice.
By now, those 3D printers are very interesting...

I will install 4 of our large Plastik machines in New York City in April and will make some sliders for the first testing. Material is Nylon 12

Can you make the small ones also?

The ones that fit on the center stand?

Maybe Duc906 can do it, if someone has a new part.

Anyone?

Put me on the list of those interested in getting a new slider. What you guys are doing to make this happen is way beyond my understanding. I am just a carburetor (weber) guy in a fuel injection universe.

Sorry plasmid, I missed your post. I would be happy to draw one up if someone could post a rough sketch with dimensions as mine are too worn. The material that the smaller guides are made of looks different to the swing arm slider, can anyone shed some light on this?
