It`s an absorbtion silencer, hence a straight through with a larger diameter so it`s louder and has less back pressure which should theorectically improve max. power output. If the 2in1 design has technical advantages compared to a 2in2 I don`t know.

So know you`re still missing a 906 ? :)

My first one had the Gio - no power diff with Dellortos, that I could feel.
No center stand / grab handle as well.

just wanted to jump in . I know the thread is old but just an update. the red wheel pics Jasper posted are mine and I have put them on my F3.

they are heavier than the mag 2 piece but infinitely cooler.

I believe I started this wheel stuff, I finally got the bike home last month and started the cleaning process. The wheels are beautiful and they have to be cleaned and polished with new tires since the mics are all cracked. It also had dellorto's on it which is nice with the 2-1 gia-ca-moto on it and sounds great but carbs have to be gone through. I have a center stand on mine and works great, also no evidence of anything bent or dimpled to make it work. It's a really nice 7k bike that just requires the normal stuff from sitting plus a bit of rubbing. I went through one of the old magazine articles that tested this setup and jotted down all the jetting procedures they used to make it perfect as they said. I rebuilt the rear master cylinder and reinstalled and bled everything yesterday so have a rear brake again. So many bikes, so little time, just turned 71! Arch.

How do you like the F3? Besides the looks.
