'87 Paso 750 gas tank grommets

Post by Jeffreyt »

While I'm sitting here in Boston waiting for the snow to melt off enough to go riding, I decided to fix the dent in my gas tank that happened when the Paso fell over in the garage and landed on a floor jack. I have been missing one of the tank rubber grommets that the quarter panels snap into since I got the Paso almost 5 years ago. Does anyone know where I might get these grommets. I would like to replace all four of them and have at least two spares if possible. I appreciate all the help that I have received over the past 5 years. You guys are great. Thank you

PS we only have 4 feet to go out of the 108 inches we had

You can still get them from Ducati.
The old #000041874 and #800041874 were replaced by #036191730 which is used on several other newer bikes.

If anyone needs new gas tank grommets, I just got mine from Ducati Omaha in only 4 days. The part # 036191730 for $1.99 each. I don't have the time to search 100's of grommet merchants with 1,000's of grommets hoping to find the right size and shape like some people I've heard from. The ones I got from Ducati Omaha are perfect thanks again to Paso 750 in Germany.
