ground wires

Post by paso750 »

going through my parts boxes I found some old battery and ground wires. I have three black wires. One is the one that goes from the battery to the frame near the shock mount and then to the engine case and then there`s a long black wire and a short one. Where are these two normally connected?
One of them should go to the board on which all the electrics is.

G on my 88 all three go to the upper shock mount ground, one from the mounting panel for relays and solenoid, one from the battery and one from the engine ground near the clutch line.

The panel ground is a thin wire and longer than the other two

the other two are the larger gauge similar length wire, one is slightly longer

funny I also have a much longer ground wire laying on the 750,I think it is one I replaced on the 906 when I went with the improved ground wires :banghead:

Hope it helps, need anything else just lemmie know
