front fender

Post by Jeffreyt »

I have a 1987 Paso 750. I am having an issue with the front tire (Golden Tyre compay) rubbing on the inside of the very back of the front fender. I checked the tire pressure and it is correct. I could adjust the tire alignment but it rubs on both side but slightly more on the left side. Any suggestions beyond bobbing the back of the fender?

Thanks,
Jeffreyt

Pack the metal bracket between the forks with washers so to lift it and thusly the guard .... or if you really want to put technology to the test ... only pack the rear holes , I mean there is no point in adding any unnecessary unsprung weight :D
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

or get a 907 fender and brace, or more rare, the first year 851 setup. They were made for a 17" front wheels, so they will have a bit more clearance. Of course, a couple of washers is much cheaper.

Thanks to McTool and DITB. Tried the washers but didn't quite work.
