Throwing a line out, maybe i'll get lucky.

Post by Evilprovolone »

Howdy everyone,

so i bought this 88 750 paso without a title. Hoping that I could find the old owner on this sight. So far the only info i can find is that is was last registered and inspected in north carolina in the U.S. in 2010 and that it was reported a total loss by whatever insurance company. I have looked at frame of the bike and it doesn't look like it is twisted or bent anywhere. I don't mind trying to find another bike frame that would fit the engine, however i would prefer this one since it is a good frame. Can anyone on here help me out with either suggestions for frames that fit this engine or a way to find the last owner?

Ducati, making mechanics out of riders since 1946
There's no problem so bad that a little fixing can't make it worse! : )
If it ain't broke keep fixin it till it is

I also am in NC and recently went through this for an R1 I'm looking at. The easiest thing to do is get a bonded title. All you need is a bill of sale. As long as the bike is not reported stolen, your insurance company will sell you a bond on the title. I could run down the steps for you but it might be better to just google "bonded title"
