I’ve searched but can’t find reference to this. I know it’s possible to fit a Monster 17” rear wheel. Has anyone on here done this? Any tips?
I know of two race Paso’s with this conversion and it’s permissible s in the CRMC Regis.
Which Monster year/size cc ?

Fitting a 17" rim is possible but not 'plug and play'. The rear axle of the Paso is 20mm, the one of the Monster/Supersport is 17mm.
The Monster/SS wheelbearings are 17x40x16mm (SKF #62203-2RS1). You would need 20x40x16mm which don't exist. 20x42x16mm bearings exist but to fit those the hub of the wheel would have to be machined from 40mm to 42mm. A new bearing spacer would also be required. This is only the wheel w/o mentioning the sprocket carrier or brake caliper mounting bracket. Modifying the caliper mounting bracket from a Monster/SS shouldn't be a problem. Keeping the one of the Paso is no option as it's for a 270mm disc, while all newer Ducs use a 245mm rear brake rotor. (mounting hole patterns are different, too)
Another option would be to get new swingarm excenters machined so a 17mm axle can be fitted. This will avoid numerous issues. You can find the drawing in the downloads thread on top of the P750 forum.
The easiest way to do the conversion is to find a rear swingarm of a 907ie. It fits the P750 & 906 w/o any modification.
If you keep the original P750 swingarm the widest rim you can fit is a 5.5" with a 170 tire. With a 4,5" there will be less clearance issues. The 4,5" can usually be found on the 750cc Ducs.
That is all I know. I've never done this conversion myself.
