ducatipaso.org may be down for a bit starting this weekend

Post by mike »

I have moved, but my internet provider has not been able to provision the new house.
I have left the server in place as long as possible, but this weekend is the drop-dead date.

I will do what I can to get the site back up, I might seek out an alternative to hosting out of my house, I can't say for sure.

This is very frustrating. Sorry for any inconvenience. :(

update: i got a call from my provider. they are going to start construction to repair the issue blocking provisioning my new house. the downtime will not be indefinite. i am hoping it will be a week. stay tuned. i will post up the timeline as soon as i can but keep in mind that once i take the server down, y'all wont be able to get updates. :)

i got ANOTHER call, telling me NO.
so we have to move the site back to a VPS.

i'm picking up the server this weekend. i'll work to get the data off and onto a VPS and the DNS change done as fast as I can. this might get ugly.

sorry guys. :(
