let`s guess it`s because of work in progress to get the site back running that this thread is now in the off-topic forum. Keep an eye on the site I suppose it will take some time to get things straightened out again as they were.

Hi,
What kind of air filters you use on your Mikunis? got a picture, maybe?
I have just converted to Mikuni carbs, but still need larger jets ( due to arrive next week from the U.K ), and a good solution for air filteration.

My Mikuni's appear to have K&N filters with the plastic ends. Definitely a snug fit. The filters are two different sizes (smaller on the vertical cylinder) and with a curved air filter boot (on the horizontal cylinder).

Hang on to the smaller jets! I may need them if/when I rejet for NM's thin air.

Where are you located?

Hi,
The smaller main jets are 132.5 ( carbs & manifolds taken from 2001 M750 ), should be 140.
I have modified the original box, using K&N element, but still playing with it, since not fully satisfied with the result.
I live in Israel.

When I was in Italy in 1989, I recall a fellow named Eli picking up an 851 from the factory . Here is a picture http://mayoreric.com/moto/pickingup851.jpg from the factory warehouse.

750 Sport Riders and Owners

I was at Albuquerque's Ducati dealer yesterday picking up the 750 Sport (carb adjustment for altitude, new belts and fluids, stainless lines) and I noticed ANOTHER 750 Sport. Since only 400 were imported, that means that ABQ has at least 1/200 of the imported inventory. Does the other 750 Sport happen to belong to anyone on this list?
