Thank you, vee2!
The bike is in my garage, new tires and some other extras, as soon as I finish I'll post some updated pics.
What exhaust do you have on that photo? They look very nice!
Thanks again, Cyber

The exhaust is a BOS Highup Aluminium. Sounds great, especially after some 1000 miles...

Both, beltcover and shock i bought at stein-dinse, germany.
As the shock ist asd i know, but you can´t get in in normal position (i tried it twice).
the damper ist an emulsion, so you can fortunatly drive it asd...

Re: Bought 750SS last night!!
Looks good...
Last sunday i changed the handlebar and brake line (from 916), K+N filter with opened airbox (very loud) and taped the rim-stripes.
By the way it got an 5,5-rim with 180-tyre. Now it looks better than ever. I love it...

Beautiful bikes guys! If anyone's thinking about the fork/caliper/single disc upgrade, I can vouch for the combination being up to the task. Here's my 600SS racebike, which is compelled to use non-adjustable forks and street tyres in its race series but has no braking problems with the 4-pad caliper, Vesrah pads and floating disc.

Re: Bought 750SS last night!!
a 600ss race bike? I had heard that they really did not deliver on the HP ~ what have you done to it?
its a cool looking bike though. id be interested in getting one just for the novelty, im not sure - did they ever even import them to the US? ive never seen one in person.

Re: Bought 750SS last night!!
I have a '92 750SS that I picked up a couple years back with under 20K miles. Essentially similar to the '93. Is that a steel or an aluminum swingarm?
I think in '93 the oil cooler was a factory or dealer option. It's in the same spot as on mine.
The single front brake works fine. I've done half a dozen trackdays with the bike now, and the brake has good feel, and I'm quite comfortable scrubbing off half my speed from ~120mph. Haven't experienced any brake fad, either. Stainless steel lines are a worthwhile upgrade.
I'm still running with the stock fork. It's not the best one out there, and a newer 900SS/SP shock is probably a good upgrade, but not one I've done yet.
Enjoy and good luck!
Ben

Ben, just hold a magnet to your swingarm

Mine's aluminum. At some point they cheaped out and switched to steel. I don't remember if that was in '93 or later.
