900 SS on E-Bay

Post by ducinthebay »

As with many Ducati models, they saved the best for last, then promptly killed it.

Cool scoot. 900 motor with 6 speed, 320 mm rotors, 4 pot calipers and white 17" wheels, and that cool paint job. Made for only one year, and very limited distribution (not the US).

Just like the last year Paso is the best one, this is the best production version of the Sport.

I have made my bike into a copy of this one, and will soon be installing a 900 motor to complete the change. Great bike if you are in the area.

They were made in 1990 and sold as 1990 or 1991 models. This is the primary reason you may have those 3mm engine spacers on the right hand side of the frame. They used the same frame as the 750 which was in production at the same time. 6 speed motor was just a little wider than the Pantah motor.
