750 Sport Body Work.... suggestions please..

Post by carlopalmas »

Hey!
Been a while since I posted anything here. Since my last post I've moved to Italy (Sardegna) and have repatriated my 1990 750 Sport/. It gets lots of stares here, looks as though none made it to Sardegna.
So my dilemma....
I have the original body work and it's in pretty good shape, but there is a very inexpensive track about 1 hours ride from my house, plus there are lots of really nice roads cutting thru the mountains. I' terrified of laying down the bike and not being able to get replacement fairings.
I've seen a few of you post pictures of other fairings you've used.. please share what you ended up using and any pics you took in the process.

Thanks!
Carlo

Ciao Carlo,
I think we all have the same fear: spoiling the bike.
It's enough to drop the bike, even when still, to do huge damages...
I have a full wrecked bike I bought from a mechanic and many spare parts bought on ebay.
I don't know if the fairings of the F1 750 fit the Sport.
If yes, you could buy a cheap fairing from Airtech.

Francesco:
Full wrecked bike.... any chance you have a spare digiplex floating around? Chasing down some repair centers in Italy and will share any useful info I gather.

Grazie mille!

Ciao Carlo,
the 907 doesn't have any digiplex because it's fuel injected. We have a Marelli P7.
No matter, if you have some issue with the digiplex, it seems she can be fixed somehow.
In bocca al lupo    .
