Timing Belt.

Hello guys.

First im new so a big greetings to all.

So im begining to have a felling that my duc needs a new belt but what model have the same timing belt as my duc from 1989 (750s)
can i buy a belt from a 500/600SL/600S/750SS/M750//PASO750, or do i have to find the one that fits my year to the dot.

Hope to get an helping hand.

Welcome aboard, you have come to the right place, Pictures are in order of your new trusty steed.

The 750 sport, and Paso bikes all have the square tooth belts. The newer Ducati's have the round tooth belts.

Please update your location so we know where you are from. Bevel Heaven sells these belts from time to time. You can google Bevel Heaven. If you are across the pond, I am sure that someone will chime in with locations.

They are all the same belts for the older pantah engine models. Just get the belt for you model and year.

if you are in Denmark, there`s no need to order in the US. For sure you`ll be able to get them also in DK, otherwise in Germany or the Netherlands it`s not a problem at all.

The Gates Power Grip HTD,5297.58070x18mm are still available in Europe aren't they?
Can't get them in the states anymore :mrgreen:

Yes the Gates belts are still available in England, i just bought a pair for my Sport from Andrew at www.mdinaitalia.co.uk, v. helpful chap and quick service. :thumbup:
