This is how the fairings looked before 3 cans of flat black paint from the Dollar store.

That paint is so fugly that anything looks better.

Next year I will take the bike to a show abd track day at Barber in Alabama so I will have pics of the other bodywork too.

ummm. interesting paint. yellow with red. quite striking. some one was probably well pleased with that when all the masking tape came off. it must of dazzled or frazzled a few eyeballs! i can see why you went for your unique and very individual paint job to cover that up. look forward to seeing your show fairings. :thumbup: :) :cool:

Not sure the 851 can be regarded as a F1 evolution...
