The penny finally dropped on why everytime I ride it, the thing just pops and farts, put the Silentiums? back on that helped some then Uni Filter here made up some pod filters to suit the Keihin's and all fixed, previous owner never rejetted the carbs to suit no airbox and straight through pipes, go figure.

The adapters for the Carbs were not cheap to say the least

This should cheer up Gerhart some .

Certainly did me riding it .

Add a 90 degree boot between the aircleaner and carbs and it will run even better.

When I have the inclination and money, I'll take a stab at rejetting it and getting the Conti's back on.
