Post by LimitedEdition »

Just a quick video link, after a wash I figured I'd film a walk around and sound check.

I bloody love the noise haha

Yeah, I agree. I think the best exhaust for the bike that I have seen, especially on the black and silver.
Great to see the bike in such good condition also.

All it really needs is a machine polish and a new screen, but the laquer on the tank is very thin you can almost feel the pinstripe vinyl. Slight worried about getting it done incase its too much. It's a very loud bike, always turns heads through town. Made some woman drop her can of coke when I drove through a tunnel and revved it lol.

You can feel the pinstriping on all the bikes from Ducati in this era. The stripes were tape, and the clear coat was added on top of it. The tape was applied by hand to cover the masking line after color coat. Always be careful about polishing old paint. Usually less is better, and follow with a lot of wax.

the second best exhaust for the Sport is the
GIO.CA.MOTO exhaust for 1990 Ducati 750 Sport & 750 Paso
now on U.S. ebay. Asking too much, it looks real nice.
Not mine.

My new pipes are currently being fitted to my 907, when they're on and I've been home to visit I'll post a few pics.

I do think GIO.CA.MOTO is the first choice!

Another walk around a 750 ducati except hand made race exhaust. my sport started out as a road bike rebuild, half way through it switched to track bike which became a race bike. Currently it's in the 2nd iteration rebuild, being turned from a race bike that looks like road bike on the track (which is how i have raced it for the last 2 years), to now to look like a racebike, probably as close to a F1 as i can get it. 1st pic is how it looked at the first meeting (absolutly standard) and over the 2 years many changes, to brakes, wheels, FCRs, rear shock, emulators for the front shocks and more. now i have cut the rear subframe, fitted a F1 replica seat, exhaust and it will get a F1 replica race half fairing.

Nice exhaust. Looks the part.
I see you went with a 17" rear wheel but stayed with the 16" front.

What emulators did you put in you forks?

Cheers. Phil.
